Preparation

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Wash and dry the asparagus under cold water, then gently pat dry with a clean towel.
  • Trim the woody ends by gently snapping each spear at its natural breaking point.
  • Place the trimmed asparagus in a bowl, lightly spray with avocado oil, and toss to coat.

Seasoning

  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, Himalayan pink salt, multi-colored peppercorns, and red pepper flakes.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the asparagus and toss to coat well.

Cooking

  • Arrange the seasoned asparagus in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 6-8 minutes, checking halfway through for doneness.
  • Once cooked, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while still hot.

Notes

Choose asparagus spears of uniform size for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for proper air circulation.
