  • In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting any excess drip off. Drench each piece in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
  • Place the coated chicken on a lined baking sheet, spaced apart for even cooking.

Baking

  • Bake for about 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) before serving.

Notes
