Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well-combined and creamy. Set aside.
  • Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions, shaping them into balls.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Place beef balls on the cooking surface and gently smash each ball down to form thin patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes until a crisp crust forms.
  • Flip the patties, place a spoonful of jalapeño popper mixture on top, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts and beef reaches desired doneness.
  • Toast the burger buns in a separate skillet until golden brown.

Assembly

  • On each toasted bun, place two patties side by side, add a layer of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and drizzle with ranch dressing. Cap with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

Tips: Use adequately fat-content beef, let cream cheese soften for easier mixing, avoid overcrowding the skillet, and toast buns for extra crispiness.
