Preparation

  • Gather your ingredients, ensuring the spinach and kale are crisp and the banana is ripe for sweetness.
  • Rinse the spinach and kale under cold water and shake off excess moisture.
  • In a blender, combine the spinach, kale, banana, and almond milk. Blend on high until smooth.
  • Add chia seeds and desired sweetener, then blend again until fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness as needed, adding more sweetener if desired.
  • Pour into glasses, serve immediately, and garnish with chia seeds or banana slices if desired.

Notes

For a colder smoothie, consider adding ice cubes before blending. Always use fresh greens for best flavor and nutrients. Avoid over-blending to maintain color and nutrients.
