  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers Choose high-quality white chocolate for coating.
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candy canes Adds crunch and extra peppermint flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies, powdered sugar, softened cream cheese, and peppermint extract. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Refrigerate or freeze the balls for about 15 minutes (in the freezer) or up to an hour (in the fridge) until firm.
  • Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth.
  • Dip each snowball into the melted white chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy canes.
  • Place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet and chill until the chocolate sets.

Storage

  • Store in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer preservation.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is well softened to avoid lumps when mixing. Use a food processor to crush your cookies to make the process quicker.
