Preparation

  • Begin by whipping the heavy cream in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is well combined and airy.
  • Take half of the crushed Oreos and dip them quickly in the cooled coffee. Layer them at the bottom of your serving glasses.
  • Add a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture over the Oreos, spreading it evenly.
  • Repeat the layering process with the remaining Oreos and cream mixture, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  • Dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with chocolate shavings for garnish.
  • Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Serve in individual cups or a large glass bowl. Can be customized with seasonal fruits for a refreshing contrast.
