  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar For sweetness.

For the filling

  • 2½ cups cold milk
  • 2 teaspoons mint extract For flavor.
  • ¼ teaspoon green food coloring (optional) For festive color.
  • 2 packages instant vanilla pudding mix (3.4 ounces each)
  • 1 container whipped topping (8 ounces), thawed For lightness.

For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation of the crust

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine graham crackers, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.
  • Press the crumb mixture into your pie dish to form an even crust.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown and let it cool completely.

Preparation of the filling

  • In a large bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth.
  • Stir in the mint extract and green food coloring until well combined.
  • Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping.

Assembly

  • Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours.

Serving

  • Top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries just before serving.

Notes

Ensure the crust cools completely before adding the filling to avoid sogginess. Chilling for at least three hours is crucial for setting.
