Ingredients
  

For the cake

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix A light and fluffy cake mix.
  • as per package instructions ingredients called for on the box (usually water, oil, and eggs) Essential for making the cake.

For the frosting

  • 1 cup vanilla frosting Creamy and sweet to bind the cake.

For the coating

  • 2 cups white chocolate chips or candy melts Choose based on preference for coating.
  • to taste sprinkles For decoration.
  • as needed lollipop sticks To hold the cake pops.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Bake the cake according to the instructions on the box in a 9x13 inch pan. Allow it to cool completely.
  • Crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs using your hands until it resembles sand.
  • Mix in 1 cup of vanilla frosting until the mixture is moist and easily moldable.
  • Roll spoonfuls of mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Insert lollipop sticks into each cake ball and freeze for about an hour.

Coating

  • Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  • Dip each frozen cake ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and decorate with sprinkles.
  • Stand the cake pops upright in a styrofoam block or cake pop stand and let them set for about 30 minutes.

Notes

Ensure the cake cools completely before crumbling for the right texture. The mixture should be moldable; add more cake crumbs if too wet.
