Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot, ensuring they lay flat and are not crowded for even cooking.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring all the chicken is well-coated.
  • If desired, add sliced onions and bell peppers on top for added flavor and color.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce in the crockpot.

Serving

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients. Avoid overcrowding the crockpot and adjust spices to your liking. Can easily be paired with coleslaw, corn on the cob, or mashed potatoes.
