Main ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped Tender and juicy protein for the quesadilla.
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend Essential for the gooey texture.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Holds fillings together.
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil For a crispy exterior.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, taco seasoning, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and sugar until smooth.
  • Spread about 1 tablespoon of the sauce over one side of each tortilla.
  • On two tortillas, equally divide the shredded chicken and sprinkle the Mexican cheese blend over the chicken.
  • Top with the remaining tortillas, sauce side down.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  • Cook each quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is golden brown.
  • Once crispy, slice into quarters and serve hot.

Notes

For best flavor, allow the sauce to sit for a few minutes after mixing. Ensure your skillet is at medium heat to avoid burning.
